MagnaBot® 384 Magnetic Separation

The MagnaBot® 384 Magnetic Separation Device is designed for high-throughput bioseparation using MagneSil® Paramagnetic Particles in 384-well plates (flat or conical) as an alternative to vacuum filtration and centrifugation. MagneSil® technology allows the use of paramagnetic particles for automated nucleic acid purification applications such as plasmid purification, PCR clean-up and dye terminator clean-up prior to automated sequencing.

• Flexible: This magnetic device is compatible with any plate processing laboratory robot with a plate gripper.
• Convenient: The device is easy to use. A 384-well multiwell plate is placed over the magnet array. The 425 powerful magnetic cylinders attract the magnetic particles to the side and away from the bottom of each well in seconds, allowing easy removal of the particle-free fluid.
